Some readers have expressed interest in having their music critiqued by others on MLR. Ideally it would be nice to have the facility for each registered user to upload their track on their own but until I can come up with a workable solution I will have to do it manually.
To be clear, there is no guarantee that anyone will actually critique your music!
If you would like to have a piece of music critiqued then contact me here. A few general guidelines.
1.) Only instrumentals.
2.) Only music that you are proposing to be used as “library” or “production” music.
3.) Average length 1:30 – 2:00 minutes but nothing longer than three minutes.
4.) MP3 at 128k and embedded ID3 tags.
5.) To the best of your ability, a description, at least six tags or keywords, genre and sound alikes.
6.) Indicate if you would like private or public critiques. If private I will close the “Comments” section and you can rely on the Private Messaging (PM) feature for communication with other users.
