Hey everyone, I was excited to find out I had an IMDB page, and thought it would be awesome to start a thread where everyone could share there’s. It’s one of those things where it’s always interesting to see what type of projects musicians have worked on, and I thought it could be a cool way to showcase it. (I hope this type of thread is ok)
September 11, 2013 at 8:36 pm #12196music_proParticipantDo you know if you can get on IMDB from library background music on reality TV shows?
September 11, 2013 at 11:54 pm #12197LupoParticipantyes you can

My visual effects career basically funded my startup businesses and our move to Spain.September 12, 2013 at 2:39 am #12202September 12, 2013 at 8:12 am #12209David RosenGuesthttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm4179855/
Pretty proud of how much I’ve done this year… and still have a few more projects that may get finished and up there before year’s end 🙂
September 12, 2013 at 8:25 am #12210Art MunsonKeymasterWell my IMDB is not very up to date but this site has managed to pull a lot my credits in to one place. Including some music library stuff.
How do it know? 🙂http://www.allmusic.com/artist/art-munson-mn0000729099/credits
September 12, 2013 at 9:37 am #12212More adviceGuestHow does IMDB extract and gather a composers information without the composer providing the information. Basically it’s a site where your credits are listed, but where are they getting the info from?

They are submitted by the production company and then edited and added to by each individual actor, artist etc. They basically get their credit information directly from the credits of a movie.
You can login and submit uncredited work as well but it goes under some kind of review.September 12, 2013 at 10:25 am #12217woodsdenisParticipantThey are submitted by the production company and then edited and added to by each individual actor, artist etc. They basically get their credit information directly from the credits of a movie.

@MarkL, Amazing body of very interesting work. Love to hear about that stuff.
