Hi folks,
My music PC running Cubase 8 Pro on Windows 7 is rock solid and stable. When Windows withdrew support for W7 I decided to use another computer for online access but not upgrade the music PC to w10. Main reason for this decision is that my audio interface will not work with W10 and I don’t want to replace it just yet.
Does anyone have any advice on how to optimise my music PC now that I am not online with it,? Any performance improvements I can attain now that the PC has no need for a firewall, (?) and any online utilities?
Any advice is much appreciated!

A google search for “optimize windows 7 for music” turns up a lot of results. For offline I would imagine you could disable virus protection. Just make sure you are not networked with any online computers.
JDParticipantThanks Art,
Should have done a Google search first before posting the question but thanks for your thoughts.
