Hmm, no note in my account. Maybe I squeezed by???
daveydadParticipantI didn’t get it… yet. Was it emailed to you?
daveydadParticipantThanks. No big numbers for sure. I’m getting cues used in a Belgian soap opera. 34 episodes so far. It is exclusive use so maybe a bit more?
daveydadParticipantJust asked the library who placed the track and they said that’s the episode number, not number of airings. So they makes it more like $39 for each of 3 cues used. Better….
daveydadParticipantIt says CBS Network Television. Of course, the placing library took 50%
daveydadParticipantI’ve only been at this for about 3 years so I know it takes time. I’m confused about the Lucky Dog placement I had on CBS. Under the Count column it shows 408. Does this mean 408 episodes? If so, and I made $116, this comes to 0.28 per episode. This can’t be right… is it?
daveydadParticipant3245 Hulu views of Lucky Dog gave me a whopping 0.15. Pathetic….
daveydadParticipantDefinitely fill out the Rights Owner info. When I first signed up I overlooked this but once I did was paid 14 months back pay! I actually make a little more each month as Rights Owner than I do as an artist.
daveydadParticipantexactly what i hope for!
daveydadParticipantyeah, i was basically kidding about the tactless “what’s up” but i’ve had many tracks sent on to sources and never heard back. i simply asked them how they were and if there was any way i could help with new music. one just replied to me and said they are satisfied with their library for now.
daveydadParticipantComplicated or not, it’s nice to get something for it! Thanks.
daveydadParticipantBeen getting pretty decent royalties for Pandora streams the past year or so. Today my statement included royalties from AudioSparx. Think that’s related to their RadioSparx outlet?
daveydadParticipantThanks!! Very helpful. I was afraid I might not get paid for them all. So far, cues have been used 52 times in this series on Discovery’s American Heroes Channel.
daveydadParticipantSo next payout is March 18. I have cues that were used in 3 episodes of a CBS show starting back in July 2015, and yet, so far, only one episode cue sheet has shown up in my BMI account. Is this normal? The library that placed the tracks said they have an account of all cue sheets in all 5 episodes.
daveydadParticipantIf the next BMI payout is March 18th… what’s the latest a cue sheet can be filed to make this deadline?
