Anyone here advise how to contact BMI with past detections found on Tunesat? Can you email or call someone?

I just added and deleted a few tracks but no longer see the fingerprint new tracks option…?

Just got their update. Nice that we can now delete tracks if we want. But I don’t see this feature anywhere…?

Big question is… why are their subscription plans soooo expensive!?!?!!?

Question I have is… how long after a cue is detected in Tunesat will you see it show up in your PRO? I had cues used back in Jan on NBC Sports Versus channel and haven’t seen them in my BMI account yet. Also, what if they were licensed on a RF site?

That’s what I’m thinking. I have shifted my direction to getting music into libraries with real people who will pitch to real people.

Wow, got my 2015 1st Q statement today from Soundexchange. Only been with them 3 quarters. Royalties went from $60 last quarter to $240 just for Pandora listens! That was with 2 albums; I have a 3rd approved and one under review. Hugely better than Spotify and worth trying to get your albums on there. Process time is slow though.

thanks. i have the passman book. so how would i go about informing bmi that i had these detections? several are with nbc sports and the tennis channel… so hoping they might be decent payouts.

So how do I know if a track Tunesat detects was or wasn’t licensed royalty-free? Or can I still try and get BMI to check into it? I had a snippet of a track used twice in a recent NBC Sports NASCAR Hall of Fame special and wondered about something like that.

Most of my placements were on ReelZ channel which is 100% cheesy reality TV. I recently had placements on Discovery so hopefully the future will be better.

Yeah… I’ve only been with BMI for 3 quarters and am not impressed. I only made enough this time for a nice steak dinner. Heck, I make a lot more from Pandora streams!
