Bummer about not getting much. I figured since it was a TV channel that’s not on paid cable, the payout would be better.
Thanks for all your advice everyone. I can breathe a lil easier.

And since my songs were placed on a Telemundo show it’s really gonna be interesting to see if I can collect on South American royalties! I appreciate it!

glengomezmeadeParticipantYeah they messed something up. I had 3 30s cues during the Olympics, 2 on the Today show and 1 during NBC Sports. I made $200 for them and then $14 on the cable rerun.
glengomezmeadeParticipantI was having a hard summer with my dad getting out of the hospital while my fiance went in. Right in the middle of the storm, I received a call from my publisher saying I had placed a handful of tracks in record time and to watch the today’s Today! Show. I turned it on and sure enough it’s Al Roker dancing like an idiot to these Brazilian tracks I made. It was the first time I saw my music on TV and was such an incredible feeling. Right when I was in a slump where I would make music and submit but would never hear anything again, I got that placement, where I could show friends and family. That was an awesome day in an otherwise horrible summer.
glengomezmeadeParticipantYou only get 50 detections under the free plan per month. Audible magic looks interesting. Anyone tried it yet?
glengomezmeadeParticipantAnybody know how soon it takes Tunesat to start kicking in once you have uploaded some tracks? And does it do it retroactively?
glengomezmeadeParticipantI have a question for 56 Strat and Art in response to Alt edits: when you say 30 s edit, does that mean you have a clean ring out at 30 seconds? or do you just chop it at 30 seconds? Wondering what your process is like! Thanks!
