If you want loud….. Metropolis Ark is a full on loud only library, I believe Ark 2 is the softer side of the orchestra.
MarkKnightParticipantI’ve been using this – https://www.sonarworks.com/reference – for the past year now. My Neumann monitors are balanced against the room, and I’m using their headphone profile for my phones… and they are very very close to each other now in terms of frequency response.

January 4, 2018 at 9:17 am in reply to: Game composer / sound designer for 25+ years, (hopefully) branching out. #29109MarkKnightParticipantOh blimey, totally miss understood you 😉 I’m not doing much acoustic violin these days though, electrics and effects are where I am 😉 To be honest, right now it’s the music production I need to concentrate most of my time on… need to build up a long term portfolio of music which is going to put some money in the bank…. most people I speak to seem to expect violin recording to be done for free, which sadly can’t be happening now…

So I’ve still to learn what implications there are with me being a PRS member etc.
Have you listened to any of my work before then, I presume you have a rough idea of the style of music I write?
