Heya –
My experience is top so far – I’ve landed several one-stops and also produced some bespokes for them ( direct briefings – direct contact ) – Tracks & Fields is well-established in Germany, the UK, further European Countries as well as the Asian market.
The competition is high and tough so ( e.G. Harry Warren Entertainment pitches there, a publisher that has started back in 1940 with tons of music ) – but as long as you have music that fits the briefings, go for it – it’s all hand-curated from their staff before a selection gets forwarded to the customer 😉
I’ve seen that there are some pitches not worth taking part in ( one-stops for 500 – 1k ), except you have a lot of music laying around and just want to spread it and make money / create reach 🙂
The music you upload to their site is in your own hands – so they can’t make any moves without asking you for permission.
You don`t have to pay to upload tracks but you need to upgrade (pay) if you want to send a track to a brief. The payouts are mainly over a thousand euros with one being 30,000 euros.
I`ve deleted my tracks and account–really easy. Surprisingly they haven`t contacted me,so that`s that. Tracks and Fields have a facebook with apparently some placements and composers named,so there is more of a presence in social media than other posters have suggested, but pay for play isn`t for me.
Thanks for the comments on T&F. They approached me asking if I would like to get involved with writing music for them. They sound sketchy, I will not waist my time with them.
