I’m seeing ad codes for nearly all my promos and my co-writers promos on Numerator, even on smaller channels Art. Not sure why you aren’t getting paid on smaller channels. Can you not find them on Numerator?
ASCAP pays royalties for performances for different types of media (commercial, promo, program, and PSA) based on two types of surveys, census survey and sample survey. A Census Survey is a count of each performance. A Sample Survey is a projection based on a snapshot of a small amount of time (six hours) on a minimum number of channels (4 – 12).
All uses are monitored by sample survey and are not paid unless performed during a sample survey time window. The following channels may or may not pay, even if cue sheets are filled. The show must fall in the survey time window or you will most likely not get paid.SURVEY CHANNELS

Art, what if the promos appear on Numerator with an ad code? Can you send it to ASCAP/BMI along with the video as proof to get paid? I have around 20-30 promos that have ran on Fox News and Fox Business.
Check out trqk it uses BMAT tech to detect tracks and works as good if not better than Tunesat and covers WAY more countries.
There is also Bam Music, APM Canada, BMG, Universal, Warner Chappell, Music for Productions and Westar. InStyle music is also Canadian.

I found Discovery’s own music library..might that be a reason that people are getting less placements on Discovery shows?Any updates on this guys? Anyone receiving any backend now?
