That’s not bad!! I don’t do much sales anymore with RF libraries except Pond5. Not sure why….

Interesting and kind of sad…

My highest streaming show on Hulu was 118,707 on a Cold Case Files episode paying $2.35. But that was also with a cue 2.35s long.

With Amazon it was an episode of MTV’s Real World with 16,893 streaming paying only $0.56. That cue was 37s.

My best payout this statement was from 41 episodes on Big Ten Network (sports): $123

Wow!! Yeah, I was surprised Netflix did that well. I made $21 with Hulu… but can’t even begin to count the number of streams….

BTW, I’m noticing more and more non-exclusive libraries going exclusive. I’ve had a couple switch recently…. even one this week that in the past swore against non-exclusive!

I do alternates but kind of quit focusing on RF libraries. Most haven’t earned a dime in years. But just last week I got 5 sales in one day on Pond5.

Kind of what I figured. I also spotted a cue sheet (same show) with my name listed incorrectly as one of the publishers on a cue used.

Had my best quarter yet! A couple of higher paying foreign placements on Finland TV! My largest payout came from uses on Bravo!!

BTW, I’ve noticed that I’m getting a little better payout lately… most times, but not always, it’s a penny per stream now. Wasn’t like that a year ago.

BTW, I’ve had music on Spotify for several years now and have made a total of $165 via CD Baby plus a few dollars via my PRO. I am seeing it slowly increase but doubt I will be able to buy my new Ferrari with the earnings anytime soon!

I get royalties each quarter through CD Baby from them. Last time it was a whopping $4.09!!
