Thanks MichaelL and Tyler I’m pretty much in the same boat.

I really like LASS. IF I could afford the bundle I would jump on it.

You’re right, strings are exceptionally hard to do. Not so much legato, but staccato and other more complicated articulations. Hard for me to get the feel right with the composition. I guess I just don’t have the ear for it. I was pretty content with the samples in Komplete until I heard your tracks. I guess they work ok for pop, not so much for more complicated writing styles.

After listening to you guys’ music I realize I still have a lot to learn. MichaelL, your samples sound so realistic. I had always wanted to hear your music.

I guess I’m not quite ready for the title of composer. All of you are amazing writers and now I understand why some of my stuff got rejected (anything with strings). You guys and MLR have all been a big help to me and inspire me to want to get better at writing, mixing, and diversifying my catalog. Thank you all. Thanks to you too Art for bringing us all together.

All of you guys have amazing mixes. Just curious, do any of you outsource or DIY? Especially @Mike Marino and @Chuck Mott?

D_I, I believe he meant the clients google you not necessarily the libraries.

I’m already a fan of BTC and if that idea is ever put to action, I’ll be one of the first to sign up. Work out the uncertainties and it’s genius. Great link Mark, thanks.

Scott, That is very inspiring. If you don’t mind sharing, how many libraries are you with? Does the ratio lean more toward EX or NE?
