    On the contrary, there are a number of good RF libraries, from which you can generate a good revenue stream. I’ve been doing this for more years than I care to admit. I’ve written for seven or eight traditional production music libraries, as well as RF libraries.

    At this time, my personal focus is on the RF market.

    Really, Michael? Maybe I’m misunderstanding the concept, then.

    Thanks for those explanations, Michael. My gut so far has told me to avoid the RF libraries. That’s not to say anything against them, but just a personal choice for me.

    To be clear — I’ve opted out of CDBaby’s sync licensing. I don’t want any Content ID issues with the libraries that I’m in.

    Yes, I’ve done the same. Still, it’s nice to know that if one IS opted in, it only affects those songs that are both in CD Baby’s catalog and opted in.

    Thanks, Art. Yes, the song is not signed anywhere else, and was written specifically for the library.

    I just wanted to make sure the Youtube thing wasn’t like picking a PRO, where they collect on everything you’re doing there.

    Yes, updated yesterday. Some of the plugin interfaces look a little different. Also updated to OS X 10.11.3 without issue.

    Thanks for the welcome, Chuck! I will consider the lifetime membership, as this is definitely a long term game for me. I’ve already learned a lot just by briefly going through the forums and the library reviews.

    Thanks, Rob! Yes, I can already tell that both of these forums are going to be incredibly helpful.

    And you’re right about this place being a treasure. My only wish is that I’d have found it sooner.
