    I wonder if anybody seem to get more placements with JP..that payout nothing. I cannot be the only one going through this. Music Constantly on Promo’s that don’t pay, network that don’t pay. all while the owner is smiling all the time online.

    Not to just vent, but I see this a problem. I am tired of these kind of companies winning off giving composer music away for free, while they get all the placments that truly matter. .

    Companies like that won’t change their ways while composers are happy to sign music to them.

    If the composers don’t value their work, why would the company? They will always make decisions that are in the best interests of the company, not the composers, because there are a million music makers out there hungry to get some action. It’s just a reality of this part of the industry cycle. Only thing you can do is choose to not go with them.

    They’ve gotten a few placements for some NE pieces I have with them but based on their decisions, I’ve chosen to not send anything else their way. My decision makes no difference to them. But it makes a difference to me and how I value what I’m doing.

    Thanks for the advice. You are making real good sense. I am tired of being taken advantage of by this company. You leave me with somethings to ponder.
    I value my work , to not just let them make all the money and all I have is lent in my pocket
