    Hi folks,
I am n the UK and have had some placements from a USA library over the last few years who when submitting tracks to them have a tick box question to confirm that the song is copyrighted. I tick yes because at least here in the UK a piece of work is considered copyrighted once recorded or stored in some tangible form (this is not the exact legal definition but my understanding of it).
Is this sufficient to protect the songs in the US and worldwide? What do other British writers do in this situation?
    Thanks
    JD
