Holy cow.Sounded like background music for those weird food eating AI videos on YouTube. Just no.

Maybe they have some sort of AI thing going on that they want to train for whatever. I wouldn’t do it anyway any more than I would upload paycheck stubs. If you don’t actually need to upload it, then they don’t need it either. Wouldn’t hurt to ask them though. I could be miles off base.

EM. Not anymore though.I have a shelf life and decided not to spend the remainder of it doing revisions for the same library.

I’m not that impressed with them but for 50 cue detections for free I can’t complain. That said, they don’t make me want to pay for it either. Might be more valuable for people willing to chase down cues but not for me so much.

lol. I was getting excited thinking my track was in CSI til I looked into it further and realized these episodes originally aired in 2010. I had barely started doing this library stuff much less written this track yet so how could my track be in those episodes? Oh well.

wow.A promo never even crossed my mind trying to figure this out. That makes more sense than anything I was able to come up with especially since all those detections are 15sec. Thanks for your input Jalisetan.

I’ve saw a long string of cue sheets from one show going down half the page in my BMI account. Couldn’t wait to get my statement.I ended up with about a buck fiddy.

Telemundo was absolutely nuts on my statement this qtr.I couldn’t believe it. Almost 3k from a series called La Casa De Los Famosos Sin Censura. Best qtr I ever had since doing this.I knew something was up when I checked BMI last week and saw about 30 cue sheets from that but I didn’t expect it to translate into that much money.

I wondered the same thing about thanking a library that I got placements through then I remembered my pops telling me,”You can’t go wrong when you have something good to say”
    so I did.

Yep. I noticed the drop in domestic royalties and increase in international royalties.

Personally, I’ve always made it a practice to register every track with BMI as the final step of finishing a cue. With BMI anyway, there is a box that asks if there is a publisher and it states that can be changed so I check no and when publishers enter the picture they register the tracks as publisher. Not saying that is how it should be done but I’ve never had any issues doing it that way.

Ahh, ok, that makes perfect sense. I was perplexed by your posts as you can tell but that explains it. Thanks for clarifying.
