I just went to start a new fullscreen account to see what it was all about. I got to the end where the agreement is, and indeed it appears that this platform is all about Youtube royalties; and hence it would have to be exclusive tracks only in the deal.
wilx2ParticipantJust contact the agency producer and ask if the spot officially aired.
I would NOT do this …yet.
First of all, it IS airing (see above). and second, its first air date was june 17. That’s less than 5 months ago. a tiny bit late, but definitely not unheard of to be that late on a sync fee or a notification. It may still be on the way. maybe.
wilx2ParticipantHey Songloft,
Competitrack has the spot as chugging along well, the backend should be decent for 3Q and/or 4Q performances. still airing…
Here’s another cool site that has airing stats, including what it last aired during. http://www.ispot.tv/ad/7nQN/dawn-cleaning-oil-spills
wilx2ParticipantHahaha! Thanks!! Brightened my day for sure.

Twitter is better for showing off placements, etc., not necessarily directed at specific people.
wilx2Participantthe aggregate amount of sync fees
Got it – Now I see the point. Thanks.
wilx2ParticipantThe PROS and PMA member libraries are fighting to protect royalty rates. Hopefully, they will be successful.
Indeed.
And let’s hope that basing royalties off sync fees would be too complicated to even implement.
wilx2ParticipantDo cue sheets have a field for sync fee paid?
wilx2Participantthe “tribunal” that sets royalty rates bases the amount of royalties paid on some formula in relation to sync fees paid
Shocking!
I just did a google search for info on this but came up empty. Do you have a link to anything about this?
wilx2ParticipantTracks which said ‘retired’ are now back to ‘approved’.
wilx2Participant@Advice –
Thanks for these figures. I am about to ask for a RC with an exclusive library, and was wondering if you could clarify if you mean total income generated by the track or just composer’s income?
wilx2Participant@Alan – Very interesting. I hadn’t even noticed that column before. Thanks for pointing it out!
wilx2ParticipantThe current episode should be here:

All other episodes can be found under the ‘episode guide’ tab
wilx2ParticipantThanks, Jay. I’m not going to sweat it. …no pun intended.
wilx2Participantthe take-away from this is that blanket deal means the client only has to report uses to jingle punks if they are PRO earning.
