    Hi Everyone,
    First post for me here.

I was wondering, how do you guys decide the tracks order of your library music album?

    Looking forward to your replies!

Hi Mark, welcome to the site! I’m sure everyone does it a little differently when they do an album, but I usually put my favorites as the first 3. After that i spread them out so that it varies as much as possible from song to song. Also I’d put the “worst” one maybe 8th on the album so that if they skip to the last one it is still good. A lot of libraries re-order them anyway though, so it doesn’t matter too much. Hope this helps!

IMO, it doesn’t matte Mark. Place them in order for your listening pleasure.

In the old days when sequencing physical CD releases for clients I used to think about it like mini sets of a live performance. Open with an uptempo mood setter, follow up with a mid or up tempo tune then a more relaxed song. Add a bit longer space and move into the next mini set.
