Hey Guys,
Just curious. Anyone else getting low BMI payments with MTV UK?
The same 20 sec cues that get me about 8-9 bucks a pop, on US MTV, are getting me under 1 dollar a Cue on MTV UK.
At a guess maybe the network on which they were broadcast ( assumedly MTV, but this could be via SKY or some other network), have a much smaller catchment than than in the USA. There are far fewer folks in the UK, and backend royalties usually depend on the size of the network from a catchment and viewing public point of view.
Just a thought.
