Other than google, wiki, etc is there any resource that can confirm PD?
One problem is that different countries have different rules for what’s considered Public Domain.
There is a site http://www.pdinfo.com/Public-Domain-Music-List.php
Also, Wikipedia will sometimes give you a history of the song and include the date it was written. Some songs may have public domain melodies based on an old folk song but the words may still be copyrighted.
