Anyone have advice on how I can determine if a work has entered public domain in Mexico? Is there a sight with a list? (For the record, I speak zero Spanish.) ASCAP said it was PD in the U.S., and would be in Mexico as well. The artist died in 1949, as I read it on wiki, works in PD before 2002 were subject to ‘life plus 50 years’, after 2002 it goes up to life plus 75, then 100. I sent a help request to SACM, Mexico’s PRO, but all I could do was Google-translate a question into a form on their website. Anyone have any ideas. Maybe anyone a member of SACM? -thanks all
