    Hi Folks,

I have 90 non-exclusive, and 200 exclusive tunes out there, but they don’t earn me more than $50 a year.

Is there a style of music which just isn’t suitable, or viable, in the music library world?

I’ve put a few tracks here for reference :

Any feedback of any nature would be very welcome.

Which libraries are they with? Did you get paid upfront for the exclusives?

My first 100 were all signed to a RF outfit in Canada – “Kool Music”…this was many years ago.

Another 100 are split between Spidercues (67 VERY recently,) and a mixture of smaller outfits.

The 90 non-exclusives are with “Audiosparx” and more recently “Tune Society”.

It occurred to me, when I started to look at all the options in this excellent site; that I may not be writing the kind of music that anyone is looking for…

I’d do research on what is on TV a lot and make top notch stuff in those genres then get them to great publishers that pay $500+ per track.

Thanks Todd, that sounds like a lot of fun for me – whether or not it works, I’m going to try that 🙂
