I’m looking to “dip my toe” into the world of online collaboration.
I really miss recording with others as I did in the past! The feedback, the ideas, and the motivation that comes from collaborating is what I really miss.

My question is, does anyone have any experience doing this? What is the best platform/service that you’ve tried (there are many)? I’m not necessarily looking for free, just the ability to have some control over who I invite and the ability to split earnings/rights.

I do like Gobbler for transferring files, etc. But, just looking for a “more professional” environment than the others offered out there.

I don’t want to come across as a control freak, just want to contribute and receive as a professional.

    Any experiences are appreciated.

    Hello,

When I collaborate, I use Dropbox, it works really well for me. One composer will invite the other to share the file and away you go!

The other sharing service I use is WETransfer, free and easy to use!

Probably a good idea to be familiar with Drop Box and Wetransfer regardless whether or not you collaborate, some libraries require you to submit music through them.
