Total Newbie: Buyout vs. Track pricing

Hey everyone and thank you for your feedback in advance:

In another thread, 50styles says:
“I sell most on Audiosparx. Every quarter between 7000 and 8000 dollars”?

My question is: how can you get a buyout if you set a price of $ 50.- per track?
Totally new so please bear with me 😉

50styles has been around for a long time, in this market, is well established and I believe in his previous posts he stated he’s making about $20k a year at AS (search 50Styles). AS has different license fees depending on use.

I believe AS now has about 500,000 tracks so it’s harder to hit those numbers starting out.
