    We all deal with, and sign up with, different websites, often knowing very little about who the company is, where they are located, and how secure the information that we provide is.

    The question came up recently with respect to a request for photo IDs and other personal information, something that I wouldn’t recommend.

    These are times in which individuals should exercise more caution. not less.

    Yep, read about this last night. Really something.

    One should use a password manager. Last Pass, Password Safe or Roboform.

    The sad part is that those crooks will probably never spend a day in jail for their crimes. A hacker with a computer is more dangerous than a robber with a gun.

    Pretty scary stuff! I’ve always been paranoid about being too social online but this puts it in a whole new perspective.

    Of course not. These things aren’t even considered a crime over there.
