I remember the love and passion I had, as kid, when I first picked up the guitar. That has held throughout all these decades later. Whether as a guitarist, producer, songwriter, composer, engineer, whatever. Sure, music can be a harsh mistress, at times, but at 82 years old the love and passion is still there.

Exactly. Many, many years ago I knew I was in music to stay. We all like a check at the end of the day but in lieu of that I will keep writing. Who knows where it will lead?

It’s easy to get into the mind set that “the sky is falling” but in reality none of us have a crystal ball. All we are doing is making up stories. Mark Twain famously said “I’ve had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened.”.

So, embrace the change and keep an open mind.
