I’d normally list a new library at MLR but their site is only in Chinese and personally I would not touch them. I have had a few libraries from China contact me but the prices are very low and I’m not that comfortable with them. YMMV.

So in the US do publishers have accounts at both BMI and ASCAP and then just register the tracks at the one the corresponding composer is also at?

I don’t attempt it very often as I don’t write very fast but one in particular succeeded and has gone on to be one of our more successful tracks. It’s had many placements on both shows and commercials. If I do attempt one I usually give myself no more than 3 or 4 hours and, for better or worse, that’s what goes out.
BTW, it was a brief for a non-exclusive library.
I lean more toward keeping control of ownership and copyright of my tracks.

I had one of those offers but after I looked at the prices they were offering to sell at, plus they had “special project” prices (whatever that meant), I passed.
