Thanks!
angopopParticipantbump…
angopopParticipantAh, thanks Art.
angopopParticipantArt, when you say you’re only on RadioSparx now, how did you remove the songs from the other parts of AS? From what I understood, once your music was on their site, it was perpetual?
angopopParticipantI didn’t know you could move your songs off the other AS platforms and keep them only on Radiosparx… Will look into Identifyy..
angopopParticipantDidn’t some libraries (Like AS) have clauses stating that one couldn’t use a service like AdRev or Identifyy? Has that changed?

I’m still working on the site, but the intention is that it is more of an alternative to sending a hard drive full of my music to some industry contacts and less of a storefront … hopefully it’s a good idea!
angopopParticipantThanks Art.
I contacted them, they are indicating I can upload my songs, but I don’t remember agreeing to any contract … maybe I agreed to it already and forgot! I will ask…
angopopParticipantArt, what was it about the BMAT contract that you didn’t like? Did you continue with them and upload all or most of your music?
angopopParticipantDoing a free trial of BackBlaze now…
January 22, 2022 at 1:36 pm in reply to: Comparing Companies that offer Music Library Websites for composers #39444angopopParticipantMany of these companies seem good, but the one that seems to offer what I’m looking for most is this one called Stock Music Templates, they’ve been around since 2003.
http://stockmusictemplate.com/
Anyone know anything about them or have any experience with them?
Thanks,

I want to make my own website to offer to these contacts… and the thought crossed my mind that it would be better to have other composers music, for the same reasons you stated.
That obviously has it’s pros and cons — more music, more sales … but complications with hashing out all the details between a few people, plus money, maintenance, time spent on the website….
If you want to talk, let me know.
Thanks, Art for your input on your experiences.
Btw, I’ve been in contact with Scott, and he offers a great service and he’s great to deal with.
angopopParticipantBy the way, I tried hiring a website designer to create my music library / searchable database, and he suddenly quit after a year, and with about half the website finished.
I’m guessing it’s a lot more difficult than it seems.
That’s why I would rather go with a company that has already created their template that works.
Argh.angopopParticipantDoes anyone have any experience with these three suggestions that came up in this thread:
Cadenzabox
StockMusic Template
HarvestMedia
ThanksangopopParticipantHi Art, that would be great! Will contact you via contact link.
