  1. Mike Gee: “these deals are not for everyone. only for those who are serious about writing and placing good music.”

Mike, your replies aren’t showing under the post you’re responding to, so I’m guessing here but if you are talking about your charge to submit then I have to completely disagree. None of the top libraries charge for submission. None of the boutique libraries I’ve worked with charge for submission. And all of them only accept writers who are serious about writing and getting good placements.

    • I agree. Why pay money to get music placed in reality TV shows? I have stuff placed in over 100 TV shows. I did not get any placements from paying to submit music.

I know because I have paid money years ago when I first started getting into music licensing. Paying money does not get anyone any special placements. Just contact libraries from emails or telephone calls. The libraries that are active in placing music will accept or reject your music based on the quality of the music itself.

As a matter of fact, none of the opportunities that required me to pay money have ever made me any money. Please do not pay money to submit music. You probably will not get any placements. The company will pocket the money and you will not get anything from it. You can get placements from companies without paying any money.

DO NOT PAY MONEY TO SUBMIT MUSIC! YOU WILL ONLY LOSE MONEY!

  2. This company has made me some good money and placed by placing my music on famous TV shows. I have a good experience with them.
