  1. I just checked it out – looks like they want physical disks sent to the mail address, along with a signed contract up front (?!). That could be good or bad – I have never seen that before!

I’m just wondering if anyone who has submitted has been paid yet?

  2. I dunno how anyone is gonna find anything on that website. It’s awful. Can you seriosuly see any clients being bothered to faff about for more than 5 seconds on there? Click on a ‘music category’ and nothing comes up (well, for me anyway).

No credits either. No showreel. And there’s google ads.

Personally, I think I’d need a little more evidence of their credentials before I sent them my work.

  3. just been accepted by these guys also. Contract is straightforward enough, a couple of unanswered emails so far but we will see, I do like people who communicate well – I’ve yet to sign.
Upload for jobs is a bit outdated by emailing mp3s (takes forever), no control panel to organize your song uploads so you have to remember what you’ve sent because you’re working blind.
I have no idea how long these guys have been going so there might be changes in the pipeline (fingers crossed) if they got their act together they could save themselves a lot of work and make our lives a bit easier.

  4. Thanks John (the other John) ” From Splashy Music Publishing you’ll get 100% writer’s PRO royalties and they’ll get 100% publishing PRO royalties. You’ll split the licensing 50/50″

    Is this a fair deal?

  5. I’m new to this. I think they want 100% Publishing. If I’m with a PRO as writer/publisher does that mean I still get 50% Publishing?

No, you get 100% publishing Jim – but only with the placements you get through your own pitching. 😀

  7. I believe they are from Montreal, I’ve sent my web link for consideration, never heard back, my material is probably not what they are seeking.

  8. You can look at opportunities on the site and submit to them. I have never dealt with them so I don’t know their exact specifics.
