Hey everyone. I got a question for the guys that have hundreds of cues in several libraries.

How do you keep track of everything? Do you use excel? What do you keep track of? How has it worked for you?

I just want to get some new ideas to see if I can improve on the way I’m doing it which has become too complicated…

I use excel. I have a column for each library as well as ascap. I put in an S when I submit to a particular library, then an A (accepted), E (exclusive) or R (rejected).

Finally, I also put and X in the ascap column when I register the song with them.   also have a bpm column at the end.

This has topic has come up a few times. I’ll try to find the links. I built a relational database using Alpha Five software. Very elaborate but keeps track of everything.
