Here’s the state of BMI royalties for me. Down about 40% from 4th quarter 2012. 2012 number of pages 34. 2022 number of pages 118!

Don’t hold your breath on promos. ABC, NBC, CBS yes but AFAIK but anything else probably not. Maybe something has changed for the better that I don’t know about?

I remember the love and passion I had, as kid, when I first picked up the guitar. That has held throughout all these decades later. Whether as a guitarist, producer, songwriter, composer, engineer, whatever. Sure, music can be a harsh mistress, at times, but at 82 years old the love and passion is still there.
