    Hi,

I know this is slightly off topic but do you know how to find out play data for individual tracks rather than total plays on Audiosparx?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I use Focal cmc50’s and I think they are outstanding.  My mixes translate very well.  The mid range clarity is the thing that really sets these monitors apart from all the others I listened to in the price range.

    Good luck! D.

    Hey Kenny,

I would say that the Waves API stuff is in a different league from the stock logic eq.  The stock Logic EQ sounds better than the Protools one but lacks character (which is what you want sometimes).  The API is superb for broadstroke sweetening/softening, adding bite, beef etc etc.  The compressor (2500) is amazing as well for the master bus/drums etc.  Well worth the money imho.

    All the best for 2013!!!

For a superb quality limiter Masseys L2007 is a no brainer – http://www.masseyplugins.com/

You can download an unlimited trial (only restrictions are no automation and it doesn’t save your settings but it’s cheap as chips anyway)

For a mastering grade compressor (and you can’t afford hardware) then the Waves SSL G series bus compressor never fails.  UAD’s version of the Neve 33609 is stellar as well.
